you hold the future

Imagine a two by two: one axis is labeled idealist / realist, the other is humanist / economist... there are multiple scenarios for how the future of design leadership could play out, with no single future being true, but with them all, in greater or lesser degrees, occurring simultaneously. In the end, all we can do is to identify the type of future we want to have happen, and for us each, in our own sphere, to do our best, worthily and well, no matter how great or small, to make that future manifest.
