A note to CEO’s regarding company culture.

What you demonstrate, others will emulate.

What you celebrate, others will replicate.

As the CEO you define the company culture with the value you place on what people do; explicitly or implicitly, endorsing or rejecting behaviors within the organization. It is not posters. It is not catchy phrases. Its not words spoken; its actions taken or left undone. Its turning a spot light, or turning a blind eye.

While many things can be delegated, you cannot delegate culture.
